By accessing or using Books Open ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Books Open is a booking and scheduling platform for tattoo artists and studios. The Service provides tools for intake forms, appointment scheduling, client management, payment tracking, and automated communications.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
If you create a shop on the Service, you are responsible for the content you publish, including intake form templates, email templates, and consent forms. You must comply with all applicable laws regarding client data, health disclosures, and payment processing.
If you use the Service as a client to book appointments, you agree to provide accurate information in intake forms and to abide by the cancellation and rescheduling policies set by the shop you are booking with.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. By making a payment through the Service, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. Books Open does not store your full payment card details.
You may not:
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Books Open. You retain ownership of any content you upload (e.g., reference images, form responses).
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Books Open shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
