1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and phone number.

Intake Form Responses

When you submit a booking request, we collect the information you provide in the intake form, which may include tattoo placement, size, style preferences, reference images, and medical information (e.g., allergies, skin conditions). Medical information is collected solely for the purpose of safe tattoo application.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number. We retain records of transaction amounts and dates for deposit and payment tracking.

Usage Data

We collect first-party interaction events, such as which product area was viewed, which navigation destination was selected, and whether a booking workflow step was completed. These events use stable category names rather than full page addresses.

Product usage events do not include intake or consent answers, client or artist notes, medical information, image names or links, booking tokens, search text, payment identifiers, IP addresses, or full browser user-agent strings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service
  • Process bookings and appointments
  • Send appointment confirmations, reminders, and other transactional emails
  • Process payments and track deposits
  • Enable shop owners to manage their client relationships
  • Understand feature adoption and improve navigation and booking workflows

3. Information Sharing

We share your information only in these circumstances:

  • With your shop/artist: When you submit an intake form or book an appointment, the shop you are booking with can see the information you provided.
  • Payment processing: We share necessary information with Stripe to process payments.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Shop owners may retain client records as required for their business and legal obligations (e.g., consent form records).

Raw product usage events are retained for up to 180 days. Events associated with an account or shop are removed when that account or shop is deleted. We may retain anonymous aggregate trends that no longer identify a user or shop.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure password hashing, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

You may:

  • Access and update your account information through your settings
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Contact us with questions about your data

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. These are necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled.

We also use browser session storage for random, opaque analytics session and journey identifiers. These identifiers help measure completion across a single browsing session and are not used for third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date.
